Senior Director, Human Resources

You will have a leading role on the Executive Committee, where your leadership will help to shape, nurture, and steer the HR department as a true source of strategic leverage.
Reporting to our Partner and General Manager, you will play a central role in governance, performance, and talent planning, in a context of sustained growth and organizational change. You will be responsible for all areas of HR expertise within the agency and will play a key role in developing and implementing innovative talent management strategies. You will supervise the Human Resources team and be responsible for implementing and maintaining HR approaches that align with the organization’s strategic vision.
This position requires a leader with solid judgment and strong implementation skills in a demanding, creative environment. Your ability to act as a strategic partner for senior management and managers will be crucial for developing our practices and supporting our growth.

Requirements
- 12 to 15 years’ experience in human resources management, including several years on an executive committee
- Experience consulting with managers at all levels
- Significant experience in designing and implementing innovative HR policies
- A thorough understanding of remuneration practices and benefit structures
- Demonstrated experience in performance management, remuneration, and talent planning
- Experience in a growing or changing environment
- Experience in a creative agency or environment (significant asset)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in both French and English, so you can interact regularly with your colleagues across Canada
Main responsibilities
Strategic alignment and policy development
- Define and roll out an HR strategy aligned with business goals, in close collaboration with the senior management team
- Supervise talents, performance, and compliance while acting as a consultant to senior management
Organizational structure and growth
- Develop the workforce plan and support managers with strategic staff planning
- Advise senior management on organizational development and change
- Ensure consistency of HR practices in a multi-site environment
Performance and talent management
- Define and steer the overall performance management framework
- Oversee improvement plans, sensitive situations, and complex interventions
- Engineer succession plans to support future growth
- Supervise overall remuneration practices
Compliance and risk management
- Ensure legal compliance, regulatory monitoring, and application of internal policies
- Oversee disciplinary practices and intervene in complex or high-risk situations
- Protect the organization in terms of human, ethical, and reputational issues
